Fiesta has been Santa Barbara's flagship celebration since 1924. In 2006, Mr. Fisher was named Offical Old Spanish Days photographer. In that year, he documented 23 events with over eleven thousand images.

After the 2007 major events have concluded, Mr. Fisher will begin working on a coffee table book of Fiesta, depecting the wonderful local color of Fiesta today. This book has already been sanctioned by Old Spanish Days, who will assist in the contribution of stories and documentation to compliment Mr. Fisher's photos.
